As a part of the curriculum under Environmental Studies, and in association with the Nature Club, Landscaping and Gardening Committee, Eco club and Vermicompost committee, a field visit to Satpal Arboretum, Mollem, was organized for the students of F.Y. BCA, B.Com and BBA (A&B) on 21st and 22nd August 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The visit was accompanied by faculty members Ms. Pranita Gaonkar, Dr. Ulhas Bansode, Ms. Milan Gaonkar and Ms. Riancy Mascarenhas.
The primary objective of the visit was to impart practical knowledge on the ex-situ conservation of biodiversity and make students aware of native plants.
