Goa Multi Faculty College organized an Orientation Program for BCA and BCOM students on 15th June 2015 from 1.45pm to 3.30pm. Program was organized in a grand way & advocated the presence of students from First, Second & Third Year. Program started off with a Welcome Address by the Principal Dr. Manasvi Kamat. She briefly outlined students about College functioning, Do’s and Don’ts, disciplinary rules and about teaching staff. She urged students to make a good use of the torchbearers of the institution that is; The Teachers. As students, we need to grow Individually, Mentally & Intellectually; she emphasized. She signed off with a simple yet significant message for students; for success, Learn to Respect Yourself and Others.
Vice Principal of the College Mr. Prasanna Kumar Ganji while speaking to students, shared some invaluable inputs from his invaluable experience. By means of stories and real life instances, he underlined the importance of having a purpose, working towards it and achieving it. He ended on a note; to have conduct in your actions, develop conduct in your mind first.
All the Faculty members of Bcom and BCA delivered brief self introductions, highlighting subjects offered, committees, clubs and other relevant details. College Librarian, Mr. Prakash, imparted useful information to students regarding Notes, submission of Email Id’s and Email Account Opening facility.
The last part of program was designed with intent to motivate & inspire students. Four motivational videos accentuating the essence of Self Confidence, Team Work, Never Say Die Attitude, and Creativity were screened. Mini activities were also conducted in between to add on an additional spark to students and to the entire program as well.
